Go in a Line

To move in a given direction, click "LINE". Specify the desired heading and press "GO". Move towards the red dot on the compass.

When you drift off course the app will speak or vibrate to get you back on track:

  1. one vibration: turn right
  2. two vibrations: turn left

Note: There is no need to keep your device flat, since the app determines your direction from the GPS, not from the magnetometer and gyroscope. You can even put your device in your pocket as you walk.

The compass must be "ON" in order to use this feature.

Points

Once points have been saved, you can find them with the compass or display them on a map:

It's good to categorize points by color, since they are sorted by color in the above list.

Property Boundaries

To draw lines on a map (for example, to specify property boundaries), save each vertex of the property as a point. For each vertex, specify the next vertex by choosing a "Draw Line to" point.

For example, the above screenshot specifies one of the lines for a property boundary ("House F40 A" to "House F40 B").

Note: imported points are added to the existing points. If an imported point has the same name as an existing point, it will replace the existing point.

Share Location

When the compass is "ON", you can press the share icon to share your location. This is an easy way to send your location via email, text message, etc.
