Vault 3 for Android v. 1.56 - Important Update
March 20, 2015

Vault 3 for Android has been updated with an important and useful feature. This update applies to version 1.56 and later. Users can now open Vault 3 documents by clicking on Vault 3 documents in file managers and Dropbox.

If you open your Vault 3 documents from Dropbox, the documents will be automatically synchronized with the cloud. Cloud synch is especially useful if you also run Vault 3 on desktop computers. The same Vault 3 document can be used by the Android app, and the Windows, OSX, and Linux desktop Vault 3 applications.

To synchronize Vault 3 documents from your Android device:

  1. Install the Dropbox app.
  2. Upload your Vault 3 documents into a Dropbox folder.
  3. Open Vault 3 documents by clicking them in the Dropbox app.
  4. In Vault 3, click File / Close when you are finished using a Vault 3 document. When you click File / Close, any changes you have made will be uploaded to Dropbox.
