Wilma Stamp

My dog Wilma is now an official US postage stamp. First class, naturally! Stamps.com allows you to upload a digital image which is then printed on 39 cent stamps. Needless to say, there's an extra charge for the service. But for special occasions, nothing beats a Wilma stamp!

The stamps are larger than ordinary first class stamps, so the photographs can be reasonably detailed. For example, in the Wilma stamp you can see the elk grazing in the snowy field in the background. The reason Wilma is looking sad is that she didn't really want to pose for a photograph at the exact time the picture was taken.

The photo stamps are self-adhesive so there's no need to lick them. But the Wilma stamp might just lick you, especially if you're wearing shorts!
