I've re-written Vault and The Photo Program. The new program is named "Vault 3". Vault 3 has some important advantages for Vault and The Photo Program users:

• The user interface has been improved, especially the search GUI.
• Each topic can have its own font.
• Topics can have attached photographs.
• All windows and dialogs are resizable, and their positions are saved.
• Vault 3 runs on 32 and 64-bit Windows, and 32 and 64-bit Linux. A version for the Apple Mac may be available in the future.
• Vault 3 uses strong encryption to ensure the privacy of your personal data
• Vault 3 is fast even on low-performance systems such as netbooks. I run Vault 3 on the Acer Aspire One.
• Vault 3 is standards compliant. Documents are stored in XML format, with Unicode encoding.
• Vault 3 is open source.

Vault 3 was developed with the Eclipse IDE, using Java, SWT, and JFace.
