How to Create an ODBC Data Source in 64-bit Windows XP
May 11, 2009

Today I needed to create an ODBC data source pointing to an MS Access database on my XP x64 system. I wasn't able to do it with the Control Panel application (Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Data Sources (ODBC)). Instead, I was able to do this by running the following command:

C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

Keywords: ODBC, Access, Windows XP, x64, 64-bit, Microsoft Access
